Tsinghua University invites applications for tenure-track/tenured faculty positions at all ranks in all relevant areas of life sciences. Candidates with a demonstrated record of accomplishments are especially encouraged to apply. A PhD, MD, PhD/MD (or equivalent), plus additional postdoctoral experience are essential. Competitive salary, laboratory space and start-up funds are available.
Research areas of high priority include stem cell, system biology, genomics, infectious disease, microbial pathogenesis, neuroscience, chemical biology, mammalian genetics and development. Each candidate is expected to establish a rigorous research program that is at the forefront of his/her chosen research area.

FACULTY POSITION
Cryo-Electron Microscopy
Tsinghua University

The School of Life Sciences and the Center for Structural Biology at Tsinghua University now invite applicants for two tenure-track/tenured appointments in the area of cryo-electron microscopy with emphasis on cryo-electron tomography, correlative microscopy, and algorithm development for electron microscopy image processing. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree in related areas and an outstanding research record demonstrating the capability or potential to establish an independent, world-class research program.

Tsinghua University has established a stimulating multi-disciplinary research environment in life sciences and biomedicine. The School of Life Sciences currently houses a Titan Krios and a Tecnai F20, and is in plan of acquiring more high-end TEMs. The School of Life Sciences provides a generous startup package, an internationally competitive salary, and relocation and fringe benefits. Tsinghua University Immunology Faculty
 
Tsinghua University has made a strong commitment to building an immunology program of international distinction and is recruiting tenure-track faculty members in the broad immunology field. New laboratories will be located in brand-new research buildings that feature state-of-the-art flow cytometers, imaging facilities (multi-photon, TIRF, and atomic force microscopies), proteomics core, and small animal vivarium that will contain germ-free mice. Research interests of our current immunology faculty include: dendritic cell and lymphocyte development, innate sensing and activation, helper T cell differentiation, lymphocyte signaling, immune imaging, NK cell biology, tumor immunity, and cytokine biology.
 
We invite application from outstanding immunologists who aim to conduct systematic, innovative research. Non-Chinese native candidates are particularly encouraged to apply (English is an official language in scientific discussions). Candidates should have a demonstrated record of excellence in areas including but not limited to inflammasome, innate lymphocytes, immune memory, human and clinical immunology, microbiota and mucosal immunity, and animal disease models.
